What Is A True Friend?

A true friend is:
Someone who calls you an your crap. Someone who sees you for what you really are, then he sticks his finger in your face laughs at you and calls you a fag. Someone who inspires you and is inspired by you, and most importantly, believes in you. And finally someone who does a great impression of Michael Jackson when the wind picks up in a large parking lot.

Had a freakin' blast man and Corrinne wants me to tell Tanya hello.

The following........

The following is a list of things I learned this week:

Rick Warren is the Anti-Christ.
It is ok to get angry at the Church as long as you are right.
People are so wrapped up in their life they forget what life is all about.
Opposites better attract because me and my wife only like the things the other one doesn't (go figure).
Selfishness is when ever you act or think on your own behalf.
Fighting is never really worth it.
Your boss doesn't hate you, he's just got a lotta personal crap to work out.
All things can be answered with the phrase: Because I like to party.
Time is this worlds most precious commodity.

Harvester Training Weekend Florida June '06

I had the pleasure of visiting my fathers church in august. Faith Family Fellowship is located in Lynne, Florida; just east of the city of Ocala on hwy 40.
I was given the opportunity to to have this great little church host a Harvester Training Weekend with Chapter Twentynine.
Needless to say we had a blast. Connie taught me to always remember that Wisdom is my sister. I can't remeber who my kindswoman is so, if you read this Connie please take this opportunity to remind me.
To the whole team from Faith Family Fellowship, you guys were awsome the pleasure was sincerely all mine.
This is a pic of one of the groups planning a future outreach. We did a mock brain-storm session where each group talked about affective outreach ideas. All the groups did an outstanding job.

This is Bob and Phyliss. They have been close family friends for many years. Phyliss was my sunday school teacher when I was 5 years old. Bob I have to say is an impressive man in his own right, he is well into his eighties and he holds a full time job as a currier/ delivery driver. It was a special treat to have a chance to see them again.

Where in the world have I been?

The answer to that, if you will permit me to use an "old man phrase" is: A small town west of Work just south of Stress in a little town called Busy. I am truly sorry for forcing all of you to endure that. Anyhoo, what am I up to.
Work: I have some one working for me now who allows me more home time and keeps me making outstanding money. That has been helpful with family time and also with getting stuff done with the ministry.
The Ministry: Things are goin' great. I fly out June 9, to florida to do an outreach at my dad's church. During which time I am going to meet the infamous Judy in person and talk about working with her in the future. The second weekend in aug I going to pheonix to do an outreach there. ( www.wedolife.com) . Our first Harvester Training Weekend will be in Denver, Co in Sept. (www.gocampaign-06.com). Of course we are gearing up for our Dominican trip in Dec. I am really excited about what is jumpin' off. Oh yeah Brian revamped the site check it out just don't look at the retarded pic of me on home page. I hate it, he says it looks great. Whatever, I just hate my pic on ministry stuff I guess. Anyway, Check it out(www.chaptertwentynine.org).
Family: Carter starts his new pre-school on teusday, so we are all excited about that. Corrinne is mad because she wants to go to school. We are gonna try to put her in Gymnastics this summer, she will like that. Beth, is feeling a little under the weather. The doctor found some enzyme in her blood that has been causing her issues for years, so she had to take a cortizone shot to get rid of it and needless to say that has not been a positive for the last couple of days, but the doctor says that it will be over pretty soon.
Well, that is the worst of it I think. We put on a new storm door, I finally found something good to use on the lawn, and I still have not finished painting the house. Ok now that's the worst of it.
Here are some pics.
I call this one "Sexual Computer", but I can't tell you why.

This one is so you can see I have not forgotten where I came from.

Lastly, we have Carter and his good pal Charzard, in case you didn't know Charzard moved in a couple of years ago and we have not been able to get rid of him.

Gary and Crosby Back in T-Town!!!!!

Kids making friends as kids so easily do.

Just loungin' at the David house.

Every one enjoys a visit from old friends and this was by no means an exeption to that rule. Thanks for commin' by I can't wait to see you again already.

Unapologetic Christianity

I have had a notion that has been weighing heavily on my thoughts for quiet some time. I have thought a lot about how to express my self in this area without sounding condescending or self-righteous. I feel that this is something that needs to be said, so I ask you to see my heart as you read on. I believe that the church of Jesus Christ has the only true definitive answer to the questions that plague the thoughts and condemn the souls of humanity today. With all clarity of mind and soundness of heart I believe we, the church of Christ, are the spokesmen for the Gospel. God has made us righteous, not by our means, but by his grace. He set us free, given us peace and hope that we carry with us even in our weakest moment. We stand free, backed by the all Powerful Creator of the universe, with the ability to conquer even the strongest of our enemies. God has become our closest friend, our strongest ally, and our most avid supporter. I want to qualify the fact that I am not talking to the special gifts, or the anointed office, or “the guy who knows the scriptures better than you.” I am speaking to you. When you said yes to Christ, Christ said yes to you. Someone once told me that the time has come for the church to rise up and take its position in the earth today. The bible says that the church rose to it’s position the day that Jesus rose from the dead. I contend that it is time for us to accept our position as the redeemed and sanctified body of Christ. It is so wonderful to know that God wants greatness for your life. If we would only act on God’s desires we would see the miraculous. There are three things that we need to recognize in order for us to move and act without apology in the things of God. First, we cannot hold any reserve concerning our righteousness. This will allow us to act free of the feeling that God may not want to use us due to our inability. Secondly, we must know what we believe 100%, and know why we believe it. If you do not believe that God is the healer for today then you won’t work a miracle today. If you do not believe that God wants to save and set all men people free then you will not see men saved and set free. Lastly, you have to desire to do the will of God. That desire will keep people on the forefront of your mind, it will cause you to speak and act despite embarrassment and repercussion. I believe God has called us to work the miraculous everyday. We cannot rely on our politics or our religion to change the world. If someone says, “Don’t pray in school.” We respond, “Ok, we’ll just have to work a miracle in school.”If they say, “Why should we believe in Jesus?”We’ll reply, “Because He gives sight to blind, He causes the lame to walk, and He sets free those that are captive. Come on you want to see Him in action.” You have it inside of you because you have Christ inside you. The Bible says that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you. He dwells inside of you for a reason. People are constantly talking about waiting the move of the Spirit. Listen to me when I say that the Holy Spirit moves every time you take a step . We can no longer apologize for our beliefs, if we expect to truly change this world. I cannot bear to see a christian who ist not witnessing every day. It does not make any sense. Let us remind each other constently that we are the hands, feet, and voice of God.

Just last weekend my sister went witnessing door-to-door with my brother in law in a nieborhood by their house in Florida. In just a couple of hours they had several salvations and a notable miracle. If you are wondering about the miracle it was only a goiter the size of a fist that instantly went down before their eyes!!! Ask yourself how many people you talked with about Christ this week. If your answer is none or just a couple then you don't have to wonder why you are not seeing salvations and miracles in your neiborhoods. Every day that you do not think of another's eternity is one more day the world will live and maybe even die in darkness.
